4 legged visitor...or trespasser?

Looky here...another friend my friends and i saw on our way to school.

monitor lizard, i think. i wonder is it late for class. It was walking so slowly. Hmm...if i were to bring it back to my apartment,... hehehe...

5th day of holidays

No 3rd and 4th days? Well, nothing much happened so we can skip those days. 5th day. Woke up at 9.39a.m. Air-con was switched off. It needed servicing. So, half awake and half asleep, I walked to my parents’ room. Switched on their air-con, and fell asleep XD It wasn’t until 12.30p.m. when my Dad came in and the noise woke me up again. He was going to school already. Suddenly, I remembered something. Quickly, I grabbed the music scores and books that I wanted him to photocopy. Handed them to him just in time. He told me there’s Jawa Mee on the table. After he left, I was home alone. I left the room door open. Gosh…why is that bed so inviting? I plopped into it, and dozed off again…

Then, I reminded myself that there was work I got to do. Reluctantly, I got up for good. Once again, breakfast became my lunch. After eating, taking bath and lazying around for a while, I finally sat down to do my homework. At around 1.30p.m., my youngest sister came back, followed by my second youngest sister at about 2p.m. I think. Then, my Mom came back.

“You want to eat Jawa Mee or not?” she asked me.

“Hah… don’t want la. You want to go where and buy?”

“No la… I da bao at school already.”

“-.-‘ Daddy just now morning, buy already.”

In the end, I ate Jawa Mee for umm…tea time, I think.

Then, I went to Yawata to buy spaghetti. So long I didn’t eat le. After that, I went to the temple I used to go until I left Nibong Tebal for studies. It always gives me a calm feeling to be there.
At around 5.30p.m., I went home. Cooked spaghetti, bathed, ate and waited for Wei Quan and Sok Kim. We went to Aeon City, Seberang Perai then to Auto City. Went to the flea market then McD. Eat till 12.20a.m. plus then went back. Pai seh ah Wei Quan, you tomorrow some more got school eh. But thanks, to Sok Kim also… for accompanying me. Good night^^

2nd day of holidays

2nd day of holidays. Woke up at 10a.m. plus. Thanks, kor kor for waking me up. Quickly got ready and asked my Dad to send me to school. I brought the trophy along to return it. “Later when you want to go to school only fetch me back,” I told my Dad and went out of the car. At the guard house, I told the pak guard that I was going to see Teacher to return the trophy. He didn’t give me any letter to let teacher sign. Weird. Usually, he’d give a form to fill out. Anyhow, I didn’t stick around any longer to wait for the form. Saved me some trouble.

I passed the teacher’s lounge windows and I guess it’s either Pn. Ooi or Ms. Tan who saw me cause when I went in, they greeted me. Didn’t get the chance to surprise them.

“你现在holiday meh?还是H1N1(touch wood)?”

“没有啦。Mid-term holiday,” I explained.

I told them that I was there to return the trophy. But then, Pn. Ooi said it’s ok. I can keep it till next year. So I told them, “Ok lo…I bring it to Malacca. Haha.”

“哇！于涵， 你现在变成比较bakbak（肉肉）了hor。 马六甲很多好吃的是吗？” Ms. Tan remarked.

“是lo…-.-‘ (I took that as a compliment)”

We were chit chatting when Pn. Suzita came in. “Eh, Yu Han… Kenapa ada kat sini? H1N1(touch
wood) kah?

-.-‘ same assumption. Well, I don’t blame them. Our place there, quite many IPTs closed.
Not long after that, Pn. Porth Theresa came in. She also greeted me and we shook hands.

Later, Yee Wan, Zi Cong and Krystal came in.

“Yu Han… I dreamt that you came and find me leh…wearing a white dress,” Yee Wan said when she saw me. “Dream of you then you’re here already.”

O.o I was like, “Huh…”

I purposely went to school during their recess time so that I can meet them. They came in to take the keys to go and open the Koperasi shop. Then I said I wanted to go also. Previously, it was my friends’ and mine’s job to open the co-op. Pn. Ooi said, “En. Ok. 去啦。去看看一下。” Yay~

Apparently, they moved the Koperasi to the Bilik Agama. Much bigger. Not like last time, so cramped. 3 to 4 persons go in, can’t really move around already. Business was like usual. Some were busy selling things and some were…err…fooling around. I was one of the latter XD Yee Wan was holding the trophy and she paraded all the way to the Koperasi with it, and posed with Zi Cong. Haha.

Then, Pn. Ooi came in to do some things. She took out some highlighters and I realized they were the ones left over from last year’s Canteen Day. I guess she wanted to clear the stock so she told them to put those on sale. Yee Wan and I took the whole container and started taking one of every colour and tested them. Erm, more like playing with them. 50 sen each. Not bad leh…Hehe…but actually, I just wanted the container cause it’s shaped like a penguin XD

After recess time, there were no customers already. So we all sat down and chit chat. They were all telling me about what happened in school lately, their trial exam (it’s next week) and many more funny incidents. We talked about movies, Zi Cong was giving fashion tips (He paling pandai these things one la)…talked until finally, my Dad sms-ed me saying that he was already in front of the school. I said goodbye and left.

In the afternoon, Yee Wan sms-ed me at 3.30p.m. asking if I was free or not. At that time, I was playing the piano so I didn’t know about the message. It was until around 4.30p.m. only I saw it. I quickly replied and in the end, we’re going to KFC. Managed to invite Wei Quan as well (coincidentally, he was online. If didn’t invite, later kena ‘hnh’)

We had only about an hour or so cause Yee Wan had tuition at 5.30p.m. At KFC, I ordered the Cheezy Chickerony cause I haven’t tried it before. Yee Wan ordered the Zinger Fillet Rice, I think, and Wei Quan ordered Zinger Burger. Yee Wan’s order came first so she ate before us.

I wonder what happened to the KFC at our place. Not as good as before. Yee Wan took her first bite of the Zinger Fillet and said it was too salty. Then when my Cheezy Chickerony and Wei Quan’s Zinger came, they didn’t even give me the utensils to eat with. What la…they expect me to use my hands, is it? As for Wei Quan’s burger, guess what. The bun looked like it had been bitten off a bit! See…

I think it was just that they didn’t separate the buns properly. Anyhow, he took it back to the counter and changed it. I 孙便 ask him to get a spoon. We ate and talk talk talk, with occasional complaints from Yee Wan about the salty fillet, until it was almost time for Yee Wan’s tuition. Then, we went back and I followed Yee Wan to her Modern Maths tuition to see Mr. Tan. So long didn’t meet him already.

When I went into the room, I greeted Sir. “Hello, Sir~ long time no see… I’m here to be your personal assistant today XD” (well, actually, I was there to ka ka cau cau only)

I sat between Yee Wan and Zi Cong. Yee Wan told Sir, “Sir, 你看。新学生 leh.”

“什么新学生？她可以做老师教你们lo… 她都会了。” Haha…Mr. Tan answered her. I became their personal tutor but they didn’t need much help. After that hour and a half, we went back.

Yee Wan then came to find me(she lives 1 house away from me) and we went to the playground behind our taman. We saw the sunset and thought of going to the flat near the playground to take a picture cause it was really nice. But finally, too late. Sunset didn’t wait for us. We played at the playground till almost dark and went home (although it clearly says that it’s for children aged 5-12 only. But never mind wat. We’re like 5 + 12. Wakaka).

At night, I thought of bringing Yee Wan and maybe a few other friends to Jushui Corner (a chinese café) but I had to cancel cause my Mom suggested to bring us to Shangri-La. It wasn’t too packed that day. We sat down at the table near the mini pond. My Sis was rubbing her nose when my Mom told her, “Ei, don’t do that. Later like Michael Jackson’s(bless his soul) nose. Can come out. I tried not to laugh out loud but couldn’t hold it.

The waiters and waitresses there were all wearing masks. Sanitary procedures. My Mom said, “Wa…you see…all become 门面超人.” Hahahahaha… I couldn’t stand it. Luckily I didn’t laugh while ordering. After having our dinner, we went back and Mom told Dad to take a detour to the new house. Believe it or not, I was the only one in the family who hasn’t seen the new house until now. And when I saw it, wow~ I love it~ but don’t know I’ll get to stay there or not, since I’m studying and all. Haiz… my Mom was already thinking of how to design the rooms. She said she’d do English style for my youngest Sis’s room. We saw a sample design in SP that day. Oh my gosh…so nice~

Regarding design’s tastes, my Mom’s taste is fairly unquestionable. She knows what suits the eye. Maybe next time, for my dream home, I might consult her. Haha. But it’s kind of unlikely XD I wonder what design should I have for my room but I haven’t seen the interior of the house yet. Dad didn’t bring the keys last night so we couldn’t go down and see. Can’t wait to see the finished and fully furnished house. But I think it’d be quite some time before we’d move in.

1st day of holidays

1st day of my holiday. Woke up at 2.30p.m. Didn’t set the alarm. Ei, aren’t we supposed to go to SP? Cham lur…late le. Went to the kitchen. Then saw my favourite Jawa mee~ Aiya…just remembered that I told my Mom I wanted that for breakfast…but oh well. Lunch also can la. After that, I faster bathed then we were on our way to Sungai Petani.

Since I went to Malacca, the first thing I thought, when I come back, I have to go to the pasar malam in my taman. But…I didn’t make it this week either >< I went back to my Grandparent’s place in Sungai Petani on Sunday and came back at night…when the pasar malam was already over T.T

However, I got a very very fair deal out of this trip back. Hehe… Every time I came back, my Mom would bring us go here and there shopping, eat, etc (that’s one of the reasons I like most when I come back once in a while). This time around,

Come back = new clothes + food +…car(yay~)

That’s why I say it’s a very fair deal, even though I missed the pasar malam. My Grandfather had talked about this car thingy with me before. He sells used cars. I previously mentioned about giving me a car since the transportation for me to go to campus is quite limited. At first, he said he couldn’t cause the cars he has are all for sale. But in the end, he phoned me to tell me that he was ok with it and it was up to my parents. So when I came back, they gave me a thumbs up. Well, they ‘hinted’ me, actually. My Mom said, “Ah Gong say want to give you a car. Did he tell you that?”

“En. Got ah.”

Then she started talking to my Dad about the condition of the car la... dot dot dot…then I knew they approved.

I don’t mind what car they’re giving me. As long as it has four wheels and can move, I’m ok. I found out that it was going to be either an Iswara or Saga. They say Saga better la. What was in my head was, “ok ok…anything.” I thought it would be a Kancil but Ah Gong say, “Don’t want la…too small.” I was like, “huh…not easier meh?”

So when we went back to SP, I saw one red Iswara and one red Saga parked outside and one white Saga parked inside. I was thinking, “Ei, which one leh?”

We then went into the house and I straight away plopped down onto the mattress and watched TV. It seems like a very long time since the last time I was there. My 1-year-old + cousin, Yi Liang learnt to walk already! His tiny little feet… sooo cute. When he’s walking, if he accelerates, he doesn’t know how to slow down XD but the way he walks…it’s just…sooo cute. I guess babies’ walks are just cute.

After watching TV for a while, we went out for dinner. While waiting for the food, Ah Gong started talking to my Dad about the cars. I also listen a bit a bit lo…car stuff…my Dad knows better. Then my Grandfather asked me, “Which colour you want? Red or white one?” My immediate reaction was to go with the red one, since I like red so much wat. But then, Ah Gong said, “Don’t want white one meh? That one newer ma.”

“Oh. Like that ah. Ok lur.”

Now that I’ve moved to a new place, it will be more convenient to go to campus. The thing is, I won’t get the car immediately when I get back to Malacca after the holidays. But I’ll wait. I thought of asking them to fetch me to Malacca then I can bring many many things along. Hehe… But I don’t think anyone’s free to do so.

So this Sunday, I’ll be going to KLIA by plane and then take the bus back to Malacca. My Grandmother seems kind of worried, probably because it’s quite complicated to get me from KL back to Malacca plus I’m alone. Anyhow, I reassured her I know the way…hopefully XD If get lost, dial 999 and you’ll have your personal escort back!

2009 SMK Methodist Nibong Tebal Prize Giving Day

On 25 July, my former Secondary School had their Prize Giving Day. I was invited to go and receive the prize for 2008 SPM results and so did my other former classmates and friends. I so wanted to be there but…I was having my Business Mathematics Midterm. In the end, my Dad represented me to receive the prize. It was Dr. Lim Boon Han who presented the prizes. Haha…those who know my full name would find it interesting.In total, I got 3 trophies and a certificate.

But I have to return one of it to school because it’s the piala pusingan. Every year, another person would receive the award. It’s sponsored by Dr. Lim Boon Sho. He’s the brother of Dr. Lim Boon Han. Their family, many many doctors one la… no wonder we see a lot of Klinik Lims here and there XD

I asked my Sis, "They didn't give file, or some kind of prize meh? Just trophies?" Cause usually, my school like to give those plastic files as a prize. But this year don't have wor.

My Sis said, "Don't know ah...since we changed Pengetua, didn't give already lur." Aiya...

A bit 舍不得 give back leh... i've just seen it like for 1 day and then have to give it back. I wonder how long has it been in school. Dare not kiss it also ><

Happy (belated) Birthday, Yi Ting

After our Economics Midterm, all 6 of us housemates went with our plan. Sin Yong and Han Ni went to buy the cake whereas Angie, Michelle, Kee Gui and I went to Mori Café. Yi Ting was supposed to meet us there at 7p.m. So we had to get things ready by then. It’s a good thing someone could send Sin Yong and Han Ni to the bakery by car.

When the four of us reached Mori Café, we told the waitress about our plan and she said they could keep the cake for us. Then, we ordered dinner. We ordered either Mushroom Chicken Rice or Mushroom Fish Rice. I had the chicken. I would recommend that.

After Yi Ting had finished her dinner, Kee Gui excused herself to go to the washroom. But she actually went to get the cake. The staff had already lit the candles. However, Yi Ting was on the phone when we were about to surprise her -.-‘ So, we had to wait till she hung up. Then, we took out our phones and put the camera into video mode, and Kee Gui came out with the cake and we all sang ‘Happy Birthday’ for Yi Ting.

We told Yi Ting that we were going to celebrate the last day of exam. But actually, it was to celebrate her birthday as well. Belated birthday, I mean. Her birthday was on 29.07 but we celebrated on 31.07. We had exams, so it wasn’t likely for us to celebrate it during that time. After the song, blowing out the candles, cutting the cake, we all took pictures~ hehe. Happy Birthday, Yi Ting~

And after we went back to the resort, we took some more pictures cause it was our last night there. The next day, which was yesterday, we moved to a new place called Pangsapuri Bukit Beruang Bestari or also known as University View (UV).
